An innovative low profile insect monitoring trap with 360  ̊ access. The specially designed ramps on all four sides mean the insects can enter the trap from all directions. The low profile (20mm) height makes the trap ideal for placing in limited spaces or for discrete trapping under furniture or spaces with limited openings.

Each Insect Monitoring Floor Trap is supplied with TWO (2) sticky insert cards and a label which can be placed on the trap to record catches.  The cards are not pre-baited with pheromones or attractants, but if specific insects are to be monitored, it is simple to add any attractant dispensers inside the traps to lure moths, beetles or other nuisance insects.

This trap has a low height, which makes the trap the preferred solution for heritage sites where small mammals or bats may be active and which might be attracted by captured insects, whilst the plastic design keeps the sticky cards dry in locations that may be damp.

The black colour ensures an active monitoring programme can be undertaken discretely, with limited potential for disturbance.

When formed the trap is 10.5cm x 8.5cm x 2.0cm. The side entrance openings have a height of 1.3cm narrowing to 0.5cm at the top of the entry ramp.  Each sticky insert card is 80mm x 60 mm.

Each Insect Monitoring Floor Trap is supplied with 2 sticky insert glue cards (80mm x 60mm) and one sticky label used to record catches.

The Insert Cards for the black floor blunder trap have no attractant, the trap relies on the insect blundering into it so accurate placement will hep maximise trap catch.  Ensure the trap is placed tightly against a vertical surface.

Where a specific species of insect is a cause for concern, the efficacy of the trap can be greatly enhanced with the addition of lures such as food attractants or pheromone dispensers. These can be directly placed onto the sticky surface.
