Constrain® is a micro-emulsion, water-based insecticide spray, for the control of flying and crawling insect pests found in historic, art and scientific collections.

It is also suitable and approved for use in domestic properties. It is approved for indoor use only.

It should be used in accordance with the product label and information. It can be sprayed directly onto insects and applied on surfaces to leave a residual effect. It has been designed for the control of a wide range of insect pests including: clothes moths, carpet beetles, wood borers, biscuit beetles, silverfish and book lice etc.

It is fast acting and odourless when dry.  There is a mildly detectable scent during application. As a water-based product, it is non-flammable and when used as directed is non-staining. Care should always be taken with delicate materials and it is always advised and recommended to first test a small amount on an inconspicuous area to be treated.

Constrain contains 0.1% cypermethrin (insecticide) and 0.1% benzalkonium chloride (surfactant).  Constrain is approved for use in the UK (HSE Approval number 10297). It is not available for purchase outside the UK.
