The Demi-Diamond Clothes Moth Insert Card is used with Demi-Diamond Traps (product code HY4160 ).
The rectangular cards are impregnated with the female pheromone for the Webbing Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) to attract male moths. They have a blue grid which provides an easy means to count the number of insects caught.
Each card is 13.5cm x 6cm.

Unopened pack of insert cards have a four-year shelf life from date of manufacture, provided they are stored in a cool location out of direct sunlight. The expiry date is marked on the outside of the sachet.
Once removed from the sachet and the cover paper removed, the glue cards will remain attractive to moth for at least 12 weeks. Opened sachets, should be sealed until the remaining cards are required for use. The pheromone level will reduce with time and release is temperature related. Eventually cards will stop attracting moths and should be replaced.
Webbing Clothes Moth have a short life-cycle, although they can be seen flying in heated properties throughout the year due to overlapping populations. There are many different products and techniques to manage clothes moth problems. See our guide: How to Manage Clothes Moths.
