Description
A dual purpose and highly effective broad-spectrum product that can be used as a conventional aerosol to treat spaces and surfaces or as a total release aerosol or room fogger. Protector contains natural Pyrethrins which are natural substances purified from extracts of chrysanthemum flowers (Pyrethrum extract). They have been used as a means of controlling insects for over 150 years. Pyrethrins cause rapid knockdown of insects followed shortly by death. The mode of action provides a broad-spectrum of insecticidal activity. With the non-persistence of the active ingredient, insect resistance is very rare.

Each Protector Natural Aerosol Total Release cannister can be used in one of three ways:
- As a room or space fogger (known as total release) – fully depressing the trigger
- As a hand-held room fogger by standing in a doorway and holding and part depressing the trigger. For flying insect control (such as moths) a 5-10 second burst will treat an average sized room (30m³). Start from the centre of the room and direct the spray into all corners and areas. Leave the room and close the door.
- As a single shot aerosol directed at individual insects, (point and shoot) part depressing the trigger
To fog, prepare a flat secure spot on which to place the cannister. With the top of the cannister pointing away from you, activate the aerosol by pressing down on the trigger to lock into place. The contents will continue to be released until empty. Ensure you leave the area of application immediately on activation and close any doors / windows etc behind you. If more than one can is to be used, start with the cannister furthest from the exit. For best control of pests leave the treated area for at least 2 hours before re-entering. Thoroughly ventilate the treated room before entering (at least 30 minutes, depending on the possible ventilation level).
Insects like warm, dark areas where they are protected from disturbance. For best results, vacuum all flooring thoroughly before application. Move all objects away from walls and sides of rooms and open any drawers and cupboard doors. The aerosol can only treat the space and does not leave any active residues. We recommend using Constrain to treat any surfaces for a longer-term effect. Remove all living creatures from the room being treated and close the windows. Ensure all electrical appliances are turned off and any pilot lights or naked flames in the room have been extinguished.
