The discrete, one piece Clearview™ trap is perfect to collect and monitor crawling insect pests in visible areas, damp locations, as well as under equipment, appliances and furniture.
The transparent lid ensures it is an easy and quick process to examine the trap for possible captures and the traps are ideal for locating within display cabinets or rooms, as they can be easily inspected, even from a remote distance away.
Hinged on one side, the trap is ideally designed for placing at the base of a vertical wall or barrier, to intercept any insect pests that are moving within a heritage or collection space.
The interior of the trap is pre-coated with a wet, non-drying glue on the central floor area. The nature of the glue provides better performance in dusty or damp areas.
No additional set-up is required. Insects walk up the textured ramp and fall into the central well. The traps are not pre-baited with pheromones or attractants, but if specific insects are to be monitored, it is simple to add any attractant dispensers inside the traps to lure moths, beetles or other nuisance insects.
When formed the trap is 11.0cm x 8.5cm x 1.8cm.

The low height entrance makes the trap suitable for heritage sites where small mammals or bats may be active and which might be attracted by captured insects.
The height of the entrance is 1.3cm narrowing to 1.0cm at the top of the entry ramp.
